Terms of Service — Greenzone

Effective date: July 3, 2026 Version: 1.0

These Terms govern the use of the Greenzone web application at joingreenzone.de and joingreenzone.com (the "Service"), operated by Philip Hattemer, Falkenstr. 8A, 81541 München, Germany (the "Operator").

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. During the current invite-only phase, accounts are created by the Operator on request; first login constitutes acceptance. When open registration launches, acceptance will occur at sign-up via checkbox.

2. The Service

Greenzone is a personal fitness tracking application: you log fitness test results (e.g. DSA, BFT, KSK PFV, 7D Test), general fitness indicators, running results, endurance marches, and — optionally — health and biometric values, and view them as a private scorecard with charts and benchmark comparisons.

The Service is for personal tracking only. It is expressly not:

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you confirm you meet this requirement.

4. Account and Security

You must provide a valid email address and choose a password and a public alias/username. You agree to:

You are responsible for activity occurring under your account. Recovery emails are sent from noreply@joingreenzone.com; the Operator will never ask for your password by email.

5. Your Data and Content

All fitness entries, test results, and health values you record remain your data. You grant the Operator only the technical right to store, process, and display them to you as needed to run the Service (see Privacy Policy). You can edit and delete your own entries at any time in the app.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter. Benchmark comparisons are only as good as your inputs.

Note for military and law enforcement users: you are solely responsible for ensuring that data you enter complies with your service and security regulations (e.g. OPSEC rules of your organisation). See Section 6 of the Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You must not:

7. Availability

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis without any service level agreement. It is a personal project of a private operator; maintenance windows, interruptions, and discontinuation of individual features may occur at any time. The Operator is not liable for unavailability except as set out in Section 8. You are encouraged to keep your own records of important results.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Operator is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body, or health, and under mandatory statutory liability (e.g. German Product Liability Act).

For slight negligence, the Operator is liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations (Kardinalpflichten) — obligations whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose observance you may regularly rely — and in such cases limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

Any further liability is excluded. In particular, the Operator is not liable for:

The Service is currently free of charge; statutory liability privileges for gratuitous services (e.g. §§ 521, 599 BGB analogy) remain unaffected.

9. Termination

10. Changes to the Service and these Terms

The Service is under active development; features may be added, changed, or removed. Planned additions (social features, group dashboards, community benchmarks, paid Pro tier) will each be introduced with updated Terms and — where they affect data visibility — separate opt-in consent.

The Operator may amend these Terms with effect for the future. Registered users will be notified by email or in-app notice with reasonable advance notice before material changes take effect. If you do not object or continue using the Service after the effective date, the amended Terms apply; if you object, either party may terminate the account. Changes required by law or that are purely beneficial to users may take effect immediately.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer residing in the EU, mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected. For users who are merchants, legal persons under public law, or without a general place of jurisdiction in Germany, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is München.

12. Consumer Arbitration

The Operator is neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).

13. Final Provisions

Should individual provisions of these Terms be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
